Project Overview
- 300 MW Panan HEP is a self-identified project awarded through an Implementation Agreement by Government of Sikkim through its nodal agency Sikkim Power Development Corporation Limited (SPDCL) on 5th December 2005 under a concession period of 35 years from the COD.
- The project is a run of the river project with 300 MW capacity (4 x 75 MW) on the Tolung Chu/ Rangyong Chu river (Tributory of Teesta) in Dzongu area of North Sikkim.
- No upstream and downstream projects on Tolung Chu River.
- No inter state nor international implications for the Panan project.
